The Finance Department is responsible for the following functions:
- Preparation of the Annual Budget and Annual Financial Report
- Debt management
- Investments
- Administration of the accounting system including accounts payable, payroll, and special assessments
- Assessment management for lighting, sprinkling, and curb/sidewalk districts
- Financing fixed assets and major projects
- Payroll preparation and administration
- Claims administration
- Personnel Policies and Human Resources
- City records including minutes, resolutions, and ordinances
- Council minutes, packets, and legal notices
