Roundup is a close-knit community located 45 North of Billings Montana, in the Bull Mountains. Roundup offers many outdoor activities including hunting, biking, hiking, fishing, and camping.
Cattle ranching, wheat farming and hay production still provide the primary economic base. Coupled with the Signal Peak Coal Mine, businesses and local entrepreneurs, Roundup provides a variety of activities.

The City of Roundup is a class III City located in Musselshell County. It has a population of approximately 1,859 people.
The City was incorporated in 1909, and operates under a Commissioner-Executive form of government.
