Roundup is a close-knit community located 45 North of Billings Montana, in the Bull Mountains. Roundup offers many outdoor activities including  hunting, biking, hiking, fishing, and camping.

​Cattle ranching, wheat farming and hay production still provide the primary economic base.  Coupled with the Signal Peak Coal Mine, businesses and local entrepreneurs, Roundup provides a  variety of activities.

The City of Roundup is a class III City located in Musselshell County. It has a population of approximately 1,859 people.
The City was incorporated in 1909, and operates under a Commissioner-Executive form of government.
